Red flags: when a subscription is too good to be true
- $2–$5 a month. Nobody can run stable servers at that price. These services oversell, freeze at peak time and tend to disappear with the money.
- No trial and no refund. A provider that will not let you test before you pay usually knows why.
- Automatic renewal on a stored card. A good subscription stops at the end of the term unless you choose to renew.
- Channel counts with no breakdown. “200,000 channels” means nothing if the US locals or the UK sports channels are missing. Ask for the list for your country.
- Support only by email. When a channel drops during a final, a reply tomorrow is useless.
